About Randall

Randall Black is from Huntington, WV where he continues his attempts to initiate change in education. He is an educator, technology specialist, and podcaster with a goal to help students, teachers, and administrators to improve for success in, and out, of the classroom. He is focused on continuous improvement of his skills as an educator and his knowledge base as a technology specialist.

Randall is currently working with Putnam County Schools as a Technology Systems Specialist. Prior to working for Putnam County Schools he served at Huntington Middle School (HMS) in Huntington, WV as the Title I Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) in Cabell County, WV. He also worked at both Enslow Middle School (2007-2009) and Cabell Midland High School (2009-2013) teaching Social Studies.

Randall is a 2004 graduate of Marshall University with a B.A. in Secondary Education (Social Studies) and History. He also has a M.A. in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University in 2012. In addition to being certified to teach Social Studies, he holds certification as a Technology Integration Specialist, Technology Systems Specialist, and Library Media Specialist.
